The Powderhorn Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) brings together families, staff, and community members to create an enriching, inclusive school experience for all students.

What Does the PTO Do?

From school events to teacher support, the PTO helps bring learning and laughter to life:

  • We sponsor beloved community events like the Panther Prowl, Movie Night, Trunk or Treat, and the School Carnival

  • We support our incredible staff through hospitality, classroom grants, and appreciation events

  • We organize fun fundraisers like Spirit Nights and Silent Auctions that directly support our students

  • We offer programs like the Paw Store, Holiday Shop, Science Fair, and more to create meaningful experiences throughout the year

Every event and initiative is made possible through the time, talents, and generosity of Powderhorn families like yours.

Help shape what happens at our school. Have an idea for a school event, fundraiser or teacher appreciation? Join us at an upcoming meeting—your voice matters!

Our meetings are the second Tuesday of every month!

Attend Our School Events

Help us build a strong school community. Panther Prowl, Spirit Nights, Trunk or Treat, Carnival—whatever we’re planning, we’d love to see you there!​

Volunteer

You can make a big impact at our school by volunteering your time. Even one hour makes a difference! Help in the classroom, at school events, or behind the scenes.​

Support Our Fundraisers

Whether it’s buying, selling, or sharing—we appreciate every bit of support to fund programs for our students and supplies for our staff. Look for more information regarding upcoming fundraisers!​

Teacher Appreciation

Send a thank you note, participate in staff appreciation days, or just offer a high five! Every gesture—big and small—counts. Keep an eye out for the “Staff Favorites” list in the Friday newsletter.​

Show Your School Spirit

Purchase school spirit wear or participate in dress-up and theme days—let’s show pride in our school community!​

Donate Services

Do you have your own business? Is there something your company could donate or sponsor for Powderhorn? Let us know! (Especially when it comes time for our silent auction in the spring!)​

Be a Positive Voice
